Our Programs

A popular and creative dinner date experience for couples presented in local restaurants. Great food in a relaxed and intimate setting coupled with practical marriage enrichment.

A recent statistic says that the average engaged couple spends 250 hours in a year planning their upcoming wedding. However, on average, today’s couples spend only two hours in that same year planning toward a lifelong marriage relationship. Statistics say that the right kind of training and premarital encouragement can increase a couple’s likelihood of having a successful marriage by as much as 75%.

For a married couple, is there any goal in life more worthwhile than honoring God and each other in marriage? Everyone knows that a married life is full of tough challenges. But couples can choose to rely on the Lord. This can give them grace needed daily to make marriage all that it was intended to be. The Marriage Hall of Fame was created by Home Encouragement to recognize and celebrate marriages that have not only stood the test of time but have been a positive influence on many others.

Home Encouragement offers private 90-minute Marriage Tune-Ups to help marriages move in the direction of hitting on all cylinders! Led by Kellie & Brett Hurst, couples spend a more focused time (either in person or via Zoom) learning how to better work as a team in their individual marriages.

Married Life Groups are small groups of five to eight married couples who gather regularly to discuss and focus on marriage enrichment. Unlike a life group or supper club, Married Life Groups are designed to intentionally turn conversation toward marriage encouragement. Typically meeting monthly over dinner, these groups read marriage books, watch marriage videos, and have discussions around marital challenges, and encourage one another in their married relationships.
